Coffee shop phenomenon all over Gading Serpong!

We mean, how many coffee shop that you know exist in Gading Serpong? We remember the time when we only found a few places to sip a coffee, but now, we're very confused to choose which one to stay :D

Anyway, lucky for you, there's a newly opened coffee shop again (and again and again) in Gading Serpong, named Mugshot Coffee Shop. It's located at Ruko Alicante, Paramount Serpong.

Place are simple yet cozy. Really love the concept btw.

What is mugshot?

MUGSHOT means "foto wajah orang yang dibuat untuk keperluan khusus, seperti untuk dokumen kepolisian" (Thank you Google for the definitions :D)

So yes, you can take your mugshot photo in here.

Of course, they serve coffees. But on that day, we really want to order something other than cappucino, expresso, latte, or any ordinary coffee. And yeah, we found this Durian Latte!

Durian Latte (37k)

We are a fan of durian so yes we really like it! It's very balance between the coffee and durian. The durian flavor it's not overpowering. Blended really well, sweetness is okay, recommended if you want to try something unique.

Mocha Based Avocado (39k)

Generous toppings we must said! You can see it clearly on the pict that the chocolate is really really a lot. And once again, avocado never failed us. Not to sweet, very refreshing!

Spicy Marinara Pasta with Meatballs (58k)

Delicious! Very tasty, nice seasoning too. Sauce are good, the texture of the pasta is okay. You can choose your own pasta : spaghetti or penne.

Omellete Pie (35k)

In other resto, you will find omellete like "omellete" you know haha but in here they made it into a pie. It's very unique menu and you should try. Simple yet savory. It's made with egg, beef bacon, bits, mushroom, sauteed onions, tomatoes, and mozarella cheese :9 Served with sauteed spinach and hollandaise sauce.

Potato Cheese Balls (30k)

Our favorite! This light bites is very nom nom nom thanks to mozarella cheese inside <3  Love the mayo sauce, very cheesy, and tasty. Perfect to accompany your time in here. One portion is not enough :')

Smoked Beef Sandwiches (40k)

It's not a cordon bleu. It's a sandwich. They construct it really good, if you see it at the first time, you won't realize that this is a sandwich. Stuffed very well and the fillings are also very good. Served with homemade potato chips, salad, and special sauce.

We're very impressed about their foods actually. They're serving coffees really good but the foods were made profesionally. Sometimes we only recommend coffee or desserts when we visit other coffee shops but we must said that when you visit Mugshot Coffee Shop, you must order their foods!

"Once upon a time, there are 5 best friends who love to travel around the world for culinary experiences. They travel to many places to taste anything! They do really love foods. One of them are very tall and big, everyone call him 'polar bear'. He insipired them to invent the name for their group 'Pentabear' means 5 bears. And finally they build their own restaurant with kopitiam concept that serves many variant foods. So, here you go 'Pentabear Kopitime'."

So guys, we wanna introduce you to Pentabear Kopitime, one of the kopitiam in Tangerang. Place is petite but, still very cute and comfy. It's located at Summarecon Digital Center, Gading Serpong, Tangerang.

They sell many variant foods and beverages. It's a good place for hang out and we think that the price is quite affordable.

Nasi Lemak Set + Ayam Goreng (31k)

One of the recommended dishes in here. Tasted nice, one of our favorite in here. It consists of rice, ayam goreng, ikan teri, telur, kentang, kacang, and sambal terasi. Good portion too!

Nasi Gulung Ayam Telor Asin (27k)

Simple yet delicious, thanks to telor asin :9 Everything with telor asin is really happening these days haha it consists of rice, chicken, vegetables, and egg.

Roti Pisang Cokelat Keju (18k)

The combination of pisang, cokelat, and keju will never fail us! Toasted okay, tasted good.

Strawbery Mocktail (22k)

Simple refreshment for relieving your thirst. It's a strawberry drink with syrup and soda.

Jus Kedondong + Kiamboi (22k)

Asem! haha but it's very very refreshing! The sourness that comes from the drink really refresh your mind.

Splash Macarone (45k)

A light appetizer that looks very pretty. Inside the cone, you can find macaroni and cheese. It�s cooked very well with Enigma style. Perfect for sharing!

Indonesian Chicken Galangal (75k)

It�s a traditional fried chicken, spiced up with Indonesian spices and served with vegetables, rice, and 3 choices of sambal. It�s a very very big portion, maybe you can share it with your friends. They really elevate this traditional cuisine with modern twist.

Original Chicken Maryland (78k)

Our favorite! It�s a breaded fried chicken served with vegetables, smoked beef, cheese, onion rings, fries, and mushroom sauce. Tasted very very good! If you prefer something cheesy and creamy, you can order this kind of menu. Tummy satisfied.

Better Than a Kiss (110k)

Liquid nitrogen is now a friend to culinary world. Many chef use this to elevate their food, especially as a coolant. It�s a dessert with black brioche homemade, whipped burning taste, vanilla aromatic, myers dark rum, and walnut. It�s also served with strawberry gelato (also made with nitrogen).

What more excited is that, you also can watch how they make this kind of menu. It�s like watching a scientist in a laboratory, it�s very fun :D Really like the brioche, gelato, and of course the sensation of eating this!

For some refreshments, you can also order their variant cocktails.

It�s a kiwi juice with a lil bit of lemon. It�s cool and refreshing. One of the recommended cocktails in here!

Lots of berries in this drink. Very pinky and pretty, a mood booster!

Very fresh and healthy! It contains spinach and a lil bit lemon in there. All are mixed very well.
