Our idea of having a quality time with our loved ones is doing it in a good+comfy place and also with yummy and affordable foods :p

And thank God we found this newly opened restaurant in BSD City, Warung Roti BSD!

When you heard the name for the first time, maybe you will think �Oh, it's warung tenda� or �Oh, it�s just the same like other kedai roti� but friends, this place is different from others, trust us.

Very spacious. And, it�s not really a warung. It�s quite like a caf� actually. Designed very well, pretty and modern. It�s a good place for hangout with your family and friends, perfect place for everyone!

They have 2 floors, first is non smoking area, and second is smoking area. For the non smoking area, don�t worry, this room is full AC so you don�t have to worry about getting hot in there.

They sell many variant foods like indomie, nasi goreng, and of course roti bakar. They toast the bread outside so you won't get smoky. 

While waiting your foods and beverages, you can explore the area because they also have a good spot for taking photos :D

For the roti bakar, we chose one of their recommended and MUST TRY menu : Roti Bakar Champions! It comes up with many variant unique toppings like :

-toblerone (21k)

-daim (23k)

-milkyway (23k)

-kitkat green tea (26k)

-ovomaltine (25k)

-maltesers (15k)

-bounty (23k)

-mars (15k)

-hershey�s (15k)

-snickers (15k)

-nutella (15k)

and you can also add another additional toppings like banana (+2.5k), marie regal (+2.5k), caramel (3.5k), astor (3.5k), oreo (3.5k), and many more!

So, we tried to combine Bounty Bar (23k) with Marie Regal (2.5k)

FYI, bounty bar is a chocolate bar with coconut fillings. The taste? Beyond our expectation! We must said that this is one of the recommended combination for you if you want to try something different. The coconut flavor from bounty bar really really tasty. It's not too sweet, and adding marie regal is the best decision that we made that night. It really elevates the flavor.

Roti Maryam Ovomaltine (20k)

It�s like a roti cane but they don�t serve it with curry, they serve it with sweet toppings like milk, caramel, nutella, and ovomaltine. The texture is same like roti cane, and of course, ovomaltine never disappoint us :p

They also serve savory foods and one of the recommended menu from the owner is Bakmi Chicken Katsu (20k). 

Simple yet delicious! Really love their chicken katsu. If you prefer to eat it with rice, don�t worry, they also have Nasi Chicken Katsu (20k).

For the beverages, we ordered Avocado Milo Ice Cream (18k)

Sweet and refreshing. Really a mood booster!

And last, we ordered their Puding Coklat Saus Vanilla (8k). Simple but it ends our dinner perfectly in Warung Roti BSD. It�s a good snacks for your little loved ones!

Overall, we�re having a great dinner in here. So guys, don�t forget to come and enjoy their cozy place and variant menu!

We're invited by RED Magz to Food Tasting at Chakra Lounge on last 22nd October 2015. And of course, this food tasting is held to celebrate one of the founder RED Magz, Raphael (Happy birthday to you! :D) We're also have a chance to meet other foodies and it's really fun to know them :)

We've been to Chakra Lounge before and we're really happy to go back and taste their delightful menu. Chakra Lounge is one of our favourite restaurant in Tangerang. The ambience is nice, place is spacious, and it's designed very elegant. A very recommended place for romantic lunch/dinner with your loved one.

There are 5 main menus and 4 desserts that we've tried at the event.

Main Menu

Chicken Cutlet

It's a pan seared boneless chicken leg with potato, green bean, and cream mushroom sauce. Tasted nice, good portion, love the sauce.

Beur Blanc Fish

It's a pan seared white fish with beur blanc sauce (cream sauce) served with mashed potato. The texture of the mashed potato is right. Their beur blanc sauce elevates the menu. The fish is not complete without the sauce.

White Wine Lobster 

Baked lobster tail in white wine sauce served with creamy mashed potato. Yes, this is our favourite! Lobsters are fresh and so delish. Really love the idea of adding melted cheese on top of the lobster. Very nice and recommended menu at Chakra Lounge.

Aglio Olio Salmon 

Pasta with olive oil, grilled salmon, dried chilli, and garlic sauce. So, if you're a fan of aglio olio, you should order this. It's yummy and satisfying.

Chakra Burger 

Homemade burger bun with homemade beef patty, lettuce, tomato, beef bacon, melted cheese, and onion rings. The portion is big, really enough to satisfy your tummy, the patty is a lil bit dry for us but still tasted very good! The onion rings are a good companion to the burger.

And let's move to the dessert...

Monster Cookie Ice Cream

It's a warm home made cookie served with ice cream on top. The cookie is soft and it's perfected with the ice cream. We think this dessert is perfect for sharing.

Red Riding Hood

Pink sugar crumb (gulali) served with ice cream and crust tuil dough. The prettiest desserts among others. If desserts have gender, this menu must be a girl haha :'D because it's really pinky! You must eat the ice cream with gulali to get the unique sensation.

Apple Crumble

Crunchy apple cake with sweet crumble on top. We're a fan of apple crumble so yes we love it. Sweet and savoury!

Churos Con Chocolate

Deep fried churros dough served with chocolate sauce. It's a fun dessert for sharing. Love the chocolate sauce, it's not to sweet. The churros have a unique taste, kind a like doughnuts but still tasted good. 

Overall, we're really amused with all the menu that they served. What we really like about Chakra's menu is their generous portion! They also served a nice coffee too thanks to the coffee machine from Severin (You should check their instagram @severin_id)
