We're proudly to say that we're generasi 90an. It was an amazing era! We really miss it. The music, foods, snacks, fashion, we love everything about it. It's a fun era and will be always on our childhood/teenage memories.
Well, we found a new resto in Tangerang with very creative concept : bringing back the 90s era, named 90s Flashback. It's located in Modernland so we think you're very familiar with this area.
Place are spacious and cozy. The interior really pictured the 90's PLUS the music is from 90s too, so happy :D
We're totally in love with the ambience. It's simple but fun.

Very recommended! Really love the bread, it has a very nice texture. And the pineapple jam? So damn good. They use homemade jam so the quality is very guaranteed. You can really taste the pineapple in your mouth naturally.

Same like roti bakar nanas, we really recommend you to try this too. Jam are fresh and tasty because it's homemade and they made it with natural ingredients. Chocolate Sprinkle (20k)
Sweet drinks seeker? If you're, go try this Chocolate Sprinkle. Really felt that chocolate flavor. Sweet and chill, perfect on sunny days.

Overall, we really enjoy our time in here. Yep, it's just another cafe with indomie or roti bakar, but the concept are fun and very catchy. It entertains the customer and can give you a nostalgic experience.

Say hello to Shake Me Up, another new recommended hang out spot in Bintaro!
Place are cozy and spacious. They have 2 floors in here, 1st for non smoking area, and 2nd for smoking area. So, you can still bring your kids to this place because the smoking area is separated. Shake Me Up is a perfect place for everyone. When we came, we saw many youngsters were ..hang out and study in here.

It's a hamburger with egg, crispy beef bacon, and beef. Generous toppings and definitely worth the price because it's cooked perfectly. Beef are tender and juicy. A complete package to satisfy your hunger.
Mozarella Fish & Chips (65k)
Fish and chips, covered in melted mozarella cheese. Love the melted mozarella cheese on top, seasoned very well. Fish are fresh and tasty too. Don't forget to squeeze the lemon on top of it for a lil bit sourness.
Gyu Tan Don (48k)
Thinly sliced beef tounge marinated in special sauce served with rice. Our favorite! Very tasty and the portion is very generous. If you're not a fan of spicy foods, better remove the chilli. Very recommended.
Don't forget to try their milkshakes too!

Basically it's just a nutella shake with whipped cream and chocolate cereal on top. Very catchy name, 50 Shades of Nutella, kind a remind us about one of the hollywood movies :D
Hershey's Cookie Monster (43k)
Hershey's Cookies and Cream + Oreo. We must said that this one is our favorite shake. Sweet and light, super yum!
Overall, we really love this place. Waiters are very friendly and the foods and beverages are tasty too. Actually we don't mind spending more money for foods IF the portions are generous and tasted delicious, so we think that foods in here aren't too expensive, it's worth the price.

Introducing, Istana Nelayan Restaurant, and it's located near Tol Tangerang-Jakarta. This restaurant sells seafood and Indonesian cuisines. The place is super duper spacious. If you want to held an event, they have a VIP Private room for 50-70 peoples and you can do karaoke in there. No minimum charge! They also have lesehan and pendopo for any occasions.
Very unique service! The waiters used the roller blade to deliver the food to the table.

And this place is also very educative so it's really suitable for your children. They have a small farm so your children could explore the place, play with the animals, learn about many variant plants, and playing in the garden. Check the video below :

So, if you're a fan of fish, you should order this one. This Gurame Balacan is one of the seafood dishes in here. Crispy texture, fish are moist and cooked perfectly.
Kepiting Soka Telor Asin (90k)
Another recommended menu in here! We knew that "Saus Telor Asin" is really popular lately. This sauce is really a perfect match with this fried kepiting soka. Crispy and soft.
Udang Goreng Gandum (57k)
Prawn is something that you don't wanna miss in your seafood party. Theirs are fresh and tasty, seasoned very well too.
Sop Buntut Goreng (80k)
Nice seasoning, very generous portion, their buntut goreng are tender and tasty. The soup is tasted good too. Better eat it while it's warm!
Tahu Kipas (27k)
So yummy! It's crispy and seasoned very well. Must eat with their special sauce. It contains prawn and vegetables.
Cumi Goreng Tepung (39k)
Very big! We rarely get the big size one while eating in other resto. It's crunchy and tasted good. Kids will love it!
Vanilla Choco Chip (21k)
This vanilla choco chip is a MUST TRY! Really felt the chocolate flavour, not too sweet and tasted wonderful! Sweet and cold, a perfect treat to end our lunch in here.
So, FYI the owner of Istana Nelayan Resto is still the same with BT Cocoa. If you love to cook/bake, we bet you will notice this brand. BT Cocoa is really well known with their chocolate product. So, their chocolate beverages is definitely on top, no doubt. You can also see many cocoa trees in here. We also have a chance to learn about chocolate and taste the real cocoa fruit!

They use the beans inside to create chocolate products that we all know today. But the real thing is, the cocoa beans is covered with a lil bit of flesh. We were given a bean to taste and actually the cocoa flesh is tasted really good, sweet and a lil bit sour just like a soursop.
Overall, we really love the place and the foods in here. Place are very spacious and educative. The seafoods are very fresh too. Good for any special occasions like wedding, birthday party, gathering, or office events.
